Performance and Annual Reports
Angus Council's performance arrangements aim to:
- identify the priority and service areas where we need to do better;
- use this information to take action to improve the results we produce, and
- tell the right people about our performance, in the right ways, at the right times.
There are two main parts to this: firstly, we develop plans that come together to set out the results we want (such as 'more and better jobs') and the things we will do to achieve them; secondly, we have a number of processes to make sure that we actually do what we have planned to do and that this produces the results we want. There is more detail on this on the Performance Arrangements page.
This part of the Angus Council web site not only aims to tell you how we are managing our performance, however, it also aims to tell you how we are performing. Angus Council Performs provides a quick guide to our performance, with more detailed information for those who want it.
A wide variety of performance information can also be found in committee reports, which we have organised here in a way that we hope, will make them more accessible. The Annual Report and Accounts provide detailed facts and figures, while the council magazine 'Angus Life' and the performance publication 'Putting You First' provide highlights in a less formal style.
